As you may have noticed, the role of the CISO within an organization has evolved considerably.
Traditionally seen as a technical expert, he is now faced with the need to understand cybersecurity from a multi-dimensional approach, including :
- operational issues ;
- legal considerations ;
- organizational and strategic issues.
The CISO has thus become a veritable orchestra conductor (or ship's captain, the choice is yours). He or she works closely with the business units, other support functions and, of course, the company's executive committee.
